"Prior to selecting Harry Wolf Associates, Ltd., as the agency to handle the sale of our business and real estate, we interviewed other business brokers and commercial real estate agents. We were impressed with Harry’s breadth and depth of knowledge about the “art” of listing, marketing and selling businesses, his prior experience selling businesses such as ours (child care), and the prominence of his ads in the Baltimore Sun paper. The others that we interviewed did not even come close to convincing us that we should list with them.

Harry understands the complexities of small business financials and developed the package to present our business in the best possible light to prospects. He was also sensitive to our need for complete confidentiality in the marketing and showing of our business, since premature disclosure of the possible sale could have jeopardized retention of employees and customers alike.

We were brought only qualified buyers, not tire kickers or those who may not be able to financially complete the sale. Once a contract was signed, he introduced the buyers to loan brokers (it required two) who were instrumental in obtaining the loans (one conventional and one SBA backed) and held the buyers hands throughout the process. Harry provided valuable guidance to us throughout the negotiations, and perhaps most important of all, kept us fully informed of every aspect and progress. We were never surprised nor misled about where the deal stood at any point.

One of the buyers was extremely difficult to work with and satisfy, but Harry ensured that we were insulated from the buyer’s day-to-day questions and demands to the maximum extent possible. A last minute buyer demand was addressed with a workable solution to us. Even at the settlement table last month, Harry continued to provide assistance and guidance and we have maintained a dialog since then about personal and other matters.
